Worship

Good Friday is sometimes called Great Friday, or Holy Friday. This year we join with Potomac Hills Presbyterian Church to commemorate the night on which Jesus was betrayed, tried, and crucified on the cross. This evening service of Scripture reading and singing marks the sober realization that the death of Jesus was necessary for our salvation.

We will meet for worship from 6:30 – 7:30pm at Harper Park Middle School (701 Potomac Station Drive, Leesburg, VA 20176). This one hour service will be followed by a short time of fellowship and refreshments.

You can expect to see our Senior Pastor John F. Jones, King’s Cross elders, our music and arts ministry director, and a few members of our worship team participating on stage during this service. They will be joined in leading by Potomac Hills’ senior and associate pastors, elders, associate worship director, and worship team members.

If you are unable to join us in person, we welcome you to watch the service livestream and download the evening’s Worship Guide.
