Within
serving our congregation

We want to practice and deploy the Glorify value of King’s Cross to glorify God by serving others, both within the life of the church and in our community, in the name of Jesus.

King’s Cross encourages the use of gifts and talents and mercy for the benefit of the entire church family, in submission to the deacons and in collaboration with other ministries of the church.

Common questions

Who gets this information?
Our administrator records this information in our church management app and is visible only to staff, officers, and deacon assistants.

Will I be inundated with emails?
Not necessarily. The goal is to have an inventory of skills and talents to make targeted requests only as needs arise in the church.

Will I be overworked?
We make every effort to provide specific details about what is expected for every volunteer service in the church, including time commitment and a contact of a volunteer on the ground.

What if nobody volunteers?
We want to pursue a ministry only when we have enough volunteers to sustain and represent that ministry. This guides our church life and increases our collaboration. At times, leaders will make special appeals for volunteers to support urgent ministry needs.
