At King’s Cross we currently have six nominees prayerfully discerning God’s will for their service in the church. These men have served the church and been nominated to serve as officers. Now they enter a season of instruction led by the elders.

They will be meeting together with elders to discuss topics, informed by their reading from resources below. In addition, they will be attending elder and deacon meetings, participating in other meetings, while continuing their regular service in the church.

What will they be reading?

They will be reading the confessional statement of ours and other Reformed, Presbyterian churches, nicknamed the Westminster Standards. They will also be reading the Book of Church Order (BCO) of the PCA.
