The two primary purposes of the Home Group ministry is to develop the Gather and Glorify ministry values of King’s Cross.
Home Groups foster relationship-building among members and regular attendees, around the person of Jesus, even as first-time visitors are warmly welcomed. The primary purpose of the Home Group is to enjoy how Jesus occupies the center of our King’s Cross family.
Home Groups emphasize dependence on God by loving Him with our entire heart in devotion and sympathetic prayer. The secondary purpose of the Home Group is to glorify Jesus as worthy to receive our affection in praise and prayer.
Meetings are a time to gather together to share life, get to know one another on a deeper level, and graciously welcome those new to King's Cross. Each meeting closes in a time of prayer for one another. Most groups will select a resource to guide facilitated discussion.
