King’s Cross offers a variety of Bible study formats throughout the week. These studies help develop not only our knowledge of God’s Word, but also the habit of observing, discussing, and applying God’s Word. The Bible is perfect (Ps. 19:7) and authoritative (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Pet. 1:21). The Bible makes us wise for salvation (2 Tim. 3:15) and is our day-to-day instruction (Rom. 15:4), even our very life (Dt. 32:47). We study the Bible regularly because the words of God are so easy to forget (Dt. 8:11).
This academic year our Bible studies focus on the Book of Acts. Studies take place every other week and all formats move at the same pace. If you miss an in-person meeting, you can visit a virtual meeting.
At King’s Cross we use the ESV Bible. Our discussions are guided by the 2024 book, Saved: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Acts, by Nancy Guthrie.
If you would like to learn how you can lead Bible studies more effectively, in the home or with others, please contact us at office@kingscrossva.org.
